Affordable Dental Crowns
Dr. Hanson excels in providing affordable dental crown and bridge work. Dental crowns are a solid dental restoration solution and a popular choice for teeth cosmetics. They are an attractive form of tooth restoration.
Crowns can be made from a variety of materials such as porcelain, metal, and gold. They are bonded to the tooth using special dental cement. They are tooth-shaped and fitted to your bite. Dental crowns can repair damage done by serious cavities and decay. They are also used as a protective surface for newly installed or established dental implants.

Uses of Dental Crowns
Dental crowns completely cap or encircle a tooth; therefore there are many uses for them. Common reasons to get a crown is if you have a chipped or broken tooth, excessive amounts of decay have grown on a tooth, severely discolored teeth, or simply as an aesthetic option to better the appearance of your smile. They also can be used to encircle a dental implant.
Longevity of Crowns
Most of the advantages of crowns are listed above, but another major advantage of dental crowns is their lifespan. Often times dentists will quote you a life span of 10 years, however with proper dental hygiene they can last you your entire life.

Need to see who does bridges.
Hello Mary. We can do a bridge here for you. Dr. Hanson does FREE consultations, I would recommend scheduling an appointment with him and we can go from there.
Whhat is the difference between crowns and porcelain venerrs, AND which is safer and better for your teeth.
For cosmetic purposes are crowns a better and safer way to go versus veneers?
Will either crowns or veneers damage your own teeth or what are the side effects?
Hi Diane.
So, crowns can be used both for front teeth and back teeth. They are very strong and durable, Crowns usually replace very large pre-existing fillings, large decay, and root canal teeth. Veneers are usually placed from K-9 to K (front teeth) to create minor shape and color changes. Strong but brittle. Veneers only cover the front of the tooth where crowns cover the entire tooth. All our crowns and veneers are metal free. Dr Hanson does FREE consultations so i would recommend scheduling that to go over all your options and what would be in the best interest for you! Please contact us 970-208-8046

I have a tooth that has a hairline crack in it and my dentist told me I need a crown. The tooth doesn’t bother me and no enamel has chipped off of it despite biting my tongue ring, can the crack possibly be fixed with a filling?
Also, if I absolutely need a crown, does Parkway Dental accept CareCredit?
Hello Lauren-
When a tooth is cracked yes it does need to have a crown placed. Im glad to hear that it does not bother you but that crack can just continue to get worse and start to hurt if not break part of tooth off. Our crowns here are $525.00 If you have any other questions or would like to schedule an appointment please contact us at 970-208-8046
Thank you
Tiffany
